Video: W.H.: U.S. "is not monitoring" German chancellor's phone
President Obama assured German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the U.S. National Security Agency "is not monitoring and will not monitor" her cell-phone communications, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Wednesday.
